Refining The Key Benefits of Your Offerings


Your mission, should you choose to accept it…

Your mission for this lesson is to move beyond thinking about what is that you are offering and move into thinking about what it is that your client is getting.

You will see plenty of people tell you that you have to connect to your client avatar (this is a client profile, don’t worry we will cover this later on) first before hashing out the Key Benefits.  I beg to differ, if you focus first on what your client needs you will miss a vital opportunity to connect to what it is that YOU can offer.





Why you need to do it:

Knowing what your Key Benefits are is vital if you plan to market your product or service effectively.

In this lesson we look beyond what business books will tell you about key benefits, and firstly explore the emotional benefits of what you bring to the table as a person and as a unique business. Then we will move into the nitty gritty usual stuff of listing key benefits for your services/products.

You can go back and refine these offerings as many times as you like later on, but it will always come from the client avatar perspective once you have done this. In my experience, knowing who you are and what you bring to the table first will allow your authenticity to shine through, and trust me, clients are drawn to that.



What you actually need to do:

2. Open the activity resource for this lesson and complete the activities in the workbook.

3. Celebrate, you have done more than most business owners!  This is a real achievement that will allow you to stand out from your competitors.
